Hey, my name is Hope Karnes!

Hi friends! I’m Hope, and I’m so overjoyed to be your photographer!

I’ve been taking photos professionally for going on 5 years now, and it has been the greatest journey getting to grow, learn, create, and make art with some of the greatest clients a gal could ask for.

And now, I’m not only a photographer — I’m a 2027 bride myself! I’m engaged to the love of my life, and I’m so excited to share all of the wedding planning, the fun, the pretty details, and everything in between with you along the way. So if you’re a 2027 bride too, just know I’ll be taking notes and gathering inspo at your wedding!

When I’m not behind the camera, you can probably find me with my family, getting a Diet Coke with my fiancé, planning our wedding, or wishing I was on the beach.

I’ve lived in Virginia my whole life, and I can confidently say it’s one of the best places to be. I love the (mostly) beautiful weather, the endless places and spaces to explore.

Most importantly, I have fallen madly in love with the Lord, and my faith is at the heart of everything I do. My prayer is that through Him, I can create a space where you feel loved, accepted, valuable, and cherished. I want my photographs to do more than simply show what your day looked like — I want you to look at them and feel seen, reflecting the beauty of being made in the likeness of God.
